I accidentally flooded the basis of my blender in the water. When is it safe to use and do not get elecrocuted

This mixer is a Krups Power X-treme .. expensive blender. I do not want to throw it without seeing if it can be saved. How long should I wait to be certain that all son, inside etc. would dry?

Not only dry, but make sure no rust. Put them in the sun for a few hours, then use a hair dryer. When turning, remember to wear rubber gloves and boots.
